Description
SingleStore is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in AI Platforms to design and implement core platform capabilities for AI/ML and AI Agents in their SingleStore Cloud. The role involves building backend services for AI features like agent orchestration, tool execution, retrieval pipelines, and model serving integrations. The engineer will also design APIs, implement tool discovery/integration patterns, and collaborate with various teams to ensure reliable and scalable AI experiences. This position requires strong software engineering skills, familiarity with distributed systems, cloud-native services, and a solid understanding of AI/ML fundamentals such as supervised learning, LLM basics, and embedding/vector search.
