Description
Telnyx is hiring a Software Engineer to build and operate AI-native backend systems for its go-to-market motion. The role focuses on designing multi-agent architectures in Python, creating model-agnostic abstractions, deploying FastAPI/Flask services on Kubernetes, integrating external CRM and enrichment systems, instrumenting production observability, and running experiments to evaluate agent performance. The position requires at least two years of Python backend experience, production experience with multi-step AI agent systems, strong software architecture and API design skills, and experience with containerized deployments, external APIs, SQL, and observability.
