Google is hiring a Software Engineer, AI Research for its Google Cloud AI Research team. The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale software solutions; leading technical projects and distributed engineering teams; and driving strategy for large-scale machine learning infrastructure and state-of-the-art generative AI solutions. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of software development experience, extensive experience leading technical strategy and optimizing industry-scale ML infrastructure, software architecture and product launch experience, and experience with advanced generative AI techniques.
