Description
Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its AI Storage team within Google Distributed Cloud. The role designs and develops scalable distributed file and object storage systems for high-performance machine learning and generative AI workloads, optimizes throughput and latency for model checkpointing and training/inference, integrates high-performance storage hardware with Google’s software ecosystem, and owns the security, durability, and availability of core storage services across edge and on-premises environments. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of software development experience, and 5 years each in ML infrastructure, systems architecture, and systems programming.
