Snowflake is hiring a Software Engineer for its Cortex AI Functions Platform team to build and operate the platform that enables customers to call AI directly from SQL. The role covers platform design, implementation, rollout, production support, throughput, cost, reliability, failure detection and recovery, and collaboration with research, product, and engineering teams. The engineer will also mentor less experienced engineers and work independently in an organized manner.
