Lockheed Martin is hiring a Software Developer for its Ground Missile Defense Weapon System Fire Control Engagement Planner team in Huntsville, Alabama. The role plans, conducts, and coordinates software development; designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs mathematical and physics-based software; supports requirements and test-case reviews; and may translate Ada code to C++. The position requires a STEM bachelor's degree with two years of related experience or a master's degree with no related experience, along with experience in optimization algorithms, Ada or C++, MATLAB, Python, Unix/Linux, modeling and simulation, and a Secret Clearance. The full-time salary range is $81,100 to $150,500, with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
