Description

The ACM Platform and AML Services team is hiring a Software Engineer to design, develop, and operate high-throughput, low-latency distributed backend services supporting Apple’s fraud prevention and case management platform. The role focuses on Java, cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes, Alibaba Cloud migration, Kafka, OpenSearch, Solr, CI/CD, observability, and production support, while collaborating with product, architecture, engineering, and business partners.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 4+ years of software engineering experience building large-scale backend systems
Strong Java development experience with modern JDK versions
Deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, scalability, and fault-tolerant architectures
Experience building cloud-native applications on Kubernetes
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with public cloud platforms and SaaS architectures
Strong understanding of CI/CD, deployment automation, and production operations
Experience designing high-throughput, low-latency APIs and distributed services
Familiarity with AI concepts, LLM-based development tools, and AI-assisted software engineering
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to independently drive complex technical initiatives
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
Self-starter with ownership, accountability, and execution bias
Experience with Kafka, OpenSearch, or Solr
Experience with Cassandra or another NoSQL database
