Description
Aiven is hiring a Software Engineer, Analytics to develop and improve its cloud operations platform, particularly PostgreSQL services and a new managed analytics offering. The role involves writing maintainable code, reviewing pull requests, optimizing OLTP and OLAP storage and query performance, contributing to technical planning, investigating customer issues, automating processes, and mentoring engineers. Required qualifications include Python development, at least three years of experience with a relational database, data engineering and ETL experience, data modeling and query optimization knowledge, backup and Linux experience, automated testing, distributed systems knowledge, and experience with performance, bug fixes, and security vulnerabilities.
