Description
Google is hiring a Software Engineer, Android to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain large-scale software solutions and end-to-end proof-of-concept Pixel experiences. The role partners with UX Research, Product Management, Hardware Engineering, and other Android teams to translate product concepts into prototypes and advocate for successful prototypes entering mainline development. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of software development experience, 5 years testing and launching software products, 5 years of Android application development experience, and prototyping experience. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree or PhD, data structures and algorithms experience, complex matrixed-organization experience, Kotlin or Java Android development, and Rust programming. The listed compensation is $207,000–$300,000 USD plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
