Description
Google is hiring a Software Engineer, Android Security to build automated runtime analysis and full-stack detection infrastructure for Google Play and Android. The role develops app instrumentation, networking, app crawling, anti-cloaking, AI-assisted dynamic analysis, and reverse-engineering solutions to detect malicious and abusive apps, while collaborating with security, privacy, abuse engineering, and product teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, two years of software development experience in C++ or Python, and experience with program analysis; preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, large-scale systems experience, data structures and algorithms experience, and Android security or privacy experience. Compensation is $147,000–$210,000 USD plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
