Meta's Standalone Apps Team is hiring a senior Android engineer to help build an image-and-text community app from early versions. The role owns significant client-side architecture and features, sets code-quality and performance standards, partners with design and product, and mentors other engineers. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, at least 12 years of software engineering experience including significant consumer Android app development, Kotlin or Java expertise, and experience leading technical direction.
