Description
Sinch is hiring a product-minded Software Engineer for its API Connectivity team. The role focuses on designing, building, testing, operating, and maintaining highly available and scalable API gateway, event notification, and customer API credential-management services and UIs. Responsibilities include enforcing authentication and authorization, managing rate limiting, traffic shaping, and routing, supporting internal development teams, and owning features through the full lifecycle in a you-build-it-you-run-it environment. The position requires 4+ years of experience with high-throughput, low-latency backend systems and strong skills in Java or Kotlin, Spring or Quarkus, Postgres, Redis, Kafka, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tools such as Grafana and Datadog.
