Description

Apple Service Engineering (ASE) Compute is hiring an experienced software engineer to build and enhance Kubernetes cluster deployment capabilities. The role focuses on container orchestration, controllers and infrastructure, scalability, availability, performance, architecture evolution, and production issue remediation. The engineer will partner with Apple teams and upstream community members, with a strong emphasis on Golang and core Kubernetes technologies.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field, or equivalent related experience
Required Previous Experiences: Strong experience building and scaling core components of Kubernetes or similar orchestration systems
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Kueue, Yunikorn, or related technologies
Ability to drive a project from a simple idea to production
Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems
