AKASA is hiring an Applied AI Engineer to build AI-powered solutions for its Clinical Documentation and Medical Coding suite. The role involves designing and deploying LLM-driven services, APIs, and agentic systems across healthcare revenue-cycle workflows, partnering with product, clinical, and revenue-cycle experts, and establishing evaluation and experimentation frameworks for production-grade systems. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, at least three years of technical experience with AI, data analysis, or backend systems, and at least one year shipping production AI systems. The position offers a salary of $180,000-$250,000 plus equity and health, dental, vision, HSA, and other benefits.
