Description
Rebar is hiring a Backend AI/ML Engineer to work on its AI and machine learning team, translating computer vision and model outputs into interactive canvas data for commercial HVAC, electrical, and plumbing projects. The role owns the perception-to-product data contract, ships AI geometry, balances accuracy and user experience, closes correction loops, and bridges AI/ML and product engineering. It requires at least six years of industry software engineering experience, product-facing computer vision or machine learning work, Python and TypeScript, and experience designing and versioning data contracts. The position is salaried and onsite in New York City's Flatiron district.
