The role focuses on reducing application memory footprint, latency, and binary size while improving Android performance, using Perfetto traces, diagnostic tools, and cross-functional collaboration with Android engineering teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of software product experience, one year of software design and architecture experience, and experience with Android components, compiler technologies, runtime systems, program analysis, toolchain development, and C++ systems programming.
