iCapital is hiring a Backend Software Engineer at the Assistant Vice President level to design, build, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-based services and APIs for its platform. The role owns projects from design through production rollout and ongoing support, contributes to technical design and code reviews, and incorporates testing, observability, security, and operational readiness. Candidates need at least six years of experience with a modern programming language and four years building or integrating APIs and backend services, along with knowledge of databases, distributed systems, and modern software delivery practices. The position offers a base salary of $100,000 to $130,000, equity, a performance bonus, and office work Monday through Thursday with remote work on Friday.
