Amazon Security is hiring a Software Engineer to build large-scale, high-availability, low-latency distributed systems that screen billions of transactions daily and help prevent prohibited transactions with denied entities. The role involves designing, implementing, testing, releasing, and maintaining complex software; owning critical compliance components; and collaborating with engineers, machine learning scientists, and subject-domain experts. Candidates need at least three years of non-internship professional software development experience, two years of non-internship design or architecture experience, and experience with at least one programming language; full software development life-cycle experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent are preferred.
