Akuna Capital is hiring a Software Engineer to help build its proprietary options market-making trading platform. The role focuses on designing, implementing, testing, and delivering mission-critical trading systems using modern C++, Linux, Python, and Agile practices, while collaborating closely with traders and engineering teammates on design reviews, troubleshooting, and enhancements. Candidates should have at least 3+ years of modern C++ experience, 2+ years with C++20/23, a bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent, and strong knowledge of distributed systems, multithreading, asynchronous execution, and object-oriented programming.
