Daat Lab, an AI venture studio, is hiring a software engineer to work directly with strategy and business partners to turn ideas into commercial-grade AI products. The role is highly hands-on and end-to-end, spanning discovery, prototyping, full-stack development, deployment, monitoring, and iterative shipping across multiple concurrent projects. The engineer will also experiment with classical machine learning and LLM/agent workflows, establish engineering standards, and deliver weekly updates with design partners. Compensation is listed as $110k-$140k for a full-time hire who will start as a 1099 contractor.
