Description

Allwyn Lottery Solutions, a global leader in digital lottery and gaming solutions under Allwyn Entertainment Group, seeks a Software Engineer. The role involves developing high-quality software designs, executing tasks throughout the SDLC, creating maintainable and secure code, conducting code reviews, debugging, implementing REST APIs, and deploying production systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong RDBMS skills, proficiency in Java and ORM frameworks like Spring, and familiarity with microservices and DevOps practices.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of proven working experience with at least one Java framework (preferably Spring 4+) and ORM framework
Experience in implementing REST APIs
Excellent understanding of concurrency in Java
Understanding of distributed computing principles and challenges
Experience with OAUTH
Experience deploying and maintaining production systems
Experience in Unit tests using JUnit or Spock
Good understanding of Docker
Familiarity with Microservice architecture
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with K8S
Experience with at least one of the major cloud providers (ie AWS, GCE, Azure)
Experience in Automated testing (functional tests and integration tests) and CI / CD
Experience with JVM languages other than Java
Demonstrated ability to write Unit tests using JUnit or Spock
Good understanding of front-end technologies and frameworks
