Description

APEX TK is hiring a Software Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency Next Generation Software Office in developing, integrating, and delivering resilient and secure Missile Defense System software. The role involves technical and engineering analysis for on-demand and cloud-based software, software-library and cloud architecture design, hardware-in-the-loop and cloud-based testing, application-interface management, and artificial-intelligence development and tooling. Required qualifications include an active Secret clearance, a STEM master's degree, and 12+ years of experience on missile-defense-related or other complex Department of Defense programs or projects.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Master's degree in a STEM field
Required Previous Experiences: 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large Department of Defense programs or projects
Design, development, and management of software libraries and cloud-based software architectures and requirements
Hardware-in-the-loop and cloud-based testing experience
Management and review of application programming interfaces and interface control documents in cloud-based and hardware-in-the-loop environments
Artificial intelligence development, tooling, and agentic operations
Preferred Qualifications: Cloud and containerization experience, including migration to cloud-native architectures
Agile and DevSecOps experience
Infrastructure as Code experience
Configuration management and version control experience
