Ascend is hiring a Software Engineer to join its San Francisco team on-site to help expand its core insurance financial operations platform. The role focuses on solving technical challenges in Ruby, working directly with customers, and building user-facing features, dashboards, checkout processes, and prompt logic/data extraction workflows. The position emphasizes collaboration with product and design, ownership of end-to-end features, monitoring and accuracy improvements, and contributing to the company’s AI-powered accounting automation and payments product for the insurance industry.
