Backflip is hiring a Software Engineer to build full-stack systems, backend services, APIs, infrastructure, integrations, and enterprise-ready security and observability for its mechanical-design products. The role involves shipping features end to end, deploying products and machine-learning models, collaborating with the AI team, and contributing to technical architecture. It requires at least four years of professional software engineering experience, strong backend and full-stack capabilities, and a modern stack including TypeScript, Node.js, Python, RESTful APIs, CI/CD, and React. The position is hybrid and based in San Francisco.
