Description
BlackLine is hiring a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, optimize, and scale cloud-based backend services for its customer-facing products. The role involves building RESTful APIs and distributed or microservices-based software, researching technologies, maintaining code quality, supporting deployments and releases, and collaborating with product, QA, and operations teams in an Agile environment. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience, backend language proficiency, cloud and infrastructure experience, and familiarity with databases, containerization, CI/CD, and secure coding practices. The role supports a hybrid arrangement with office attendance at least three days per week.
