Deutsche Post DHL Group is hiring a Software Engineer for its AI Platform API Gateway project in Chennai, India. The role designs, develops, and operates Apigee API proxies that expose Model Context Protocol-based AI services, while implementing security, governance, traffic management, observability, CI/CD, and application onboarding. The engineer will also translate business AI use cases into scalable API solutions and collaborate with backend and business teams. The position requires at least five years of experience in API development, API management, or platform engineering, along with strong Apigee, API security, cloud, distributed systems, and DevOps experience.
