Clara is hiring a Software Engineer for one of two tracks: Product Engineering, focused on backend services, APIs, Java/Spring Boot, React, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and AWS; or Data & ML Engineering, focused on production pipelines, models, risk scoring, fraud signals, and spend intelligence using Python, SQL, and modern data tooling. The role is intended for engineers without prior full-time software experience, requires a technical foundation, a demonstrable project, AI-native coding ability, strong fundamentals, English proficiency, and ownership.
