Commure is hiring a Software Engineer for its Athelas Home Engineering team to develop and improve backend and frontend services for its FDA-cleared IoT medical device. The role involves translating product requirements into technical solutions, implementing cybersecurity practices, collaborating with engineering, operations, quality, and regulatory teams, and maintaining scalable production systems. The technology stack includes Python, Flask, React, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and Docker, with strong emphasis on data pipelines, containerization, cloud services, monitoring, reliability, and software quality. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent extensive experience, professional software engineering experience, and Python proficiency are required.
