Copper is hiring a full-time Software Engineer for its Berkeley, California office. The role owns end-to-end software systems spanning AWS or similar cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, data pipelines, React web frontends, mobile applications, internal tools, and integrations with connected physical appliances. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, testing, shipping, and operating reliable production systems; collaborating with hardware, firmware, manufacturing, product, and operations teams; supporting mobile releases and QA automation; contributing to technical direction and code reviews; mentoring engineers; and participating in occasional on-call incident response. The position offers a $175,000–$190,000 annual salary and medical, dental, and vision insurance with employer premium contributions.
