DigiCert is hiring a Software Engineer for its Public Trust PKI engineering team to design, develop, test, and maintain backend services supporting certificate issuance and lifecycle management. The role focuses on C++ development, RESTful APIs, distributed microservices, debugging, performance and scalability analysis, and support for Microsoft SQL Server and Cassandra databases. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least two years of professional software development experience, strong C++ and object-oriented programming skills, and familiarity with distributed systems, databases, containerization, Git, build systems, and secure coding practices.
