The role involves contributing to the codebase for enterprise SaaS applications, communicating complex concepts, ensuring product quality, elevating test practices, guiding decisions based on user empathy, identifying alternative solutions, following SDLC processes, mentoring junior developers, fixing bugs, participating in system design, performing refactoring, providing constructive feedback, and learning industry jargon.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Strong proficiency in Java.
Minimum of 4 years professional experience in Java development
Minimum of 4 years professional Cloud Platform experience, preferably in AWS
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in OS X and Linux environments, Microservices, SQL, NoSQL, and Git
Experience working in a scrum and DevOps environment
Good understanding of agile application development lifecycle
Extensive understanding of various design patterns and OOP paradigm
Extensive experience in RESTful and security of API design
Experience Designing and building JSON or REST services
Expert knowledge of Java
Knowledge in Javascript preferred
Experience working with 3rd party APIs, AWS APIs, Docker or other containers, large-scale or distributed web applications
Experience practicing Test Driven Development is highly preferred
