General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada is hiring a Software Engineer for its LC4ISR ISTAR team to support Canadian Army intelligence, reconnaissance, target acquisition, and surveillance capabilities. The role involves designing SDKs, building J2EE data pipelines and Java desktop applications, integrating communication protocols, developing tests, supporting field trials, and mentoring junior engineers. It requires on-site work in Ottawa and National Capital Region customer locations, with occasional remote work and possible travel. The position requires a technical bachelor’s degree, 5–8 years of professional software development experience, and strong Java, enterprise, desktop, integration, and Agile skills.
