Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its Core team to build the technical foundation behind its flagship products. The role involves writing product or system development code, participating in or leading design reviews, reviewing other developers’ code, contributing documentation, and triaging and debugging product or system issues. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least two years of software development experience or one year with an advanced degree, and experience with Generative AI. Python programming experience is preferred, and the listed compensation is $147,000–$210,000 USD plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
