Google is hiring a software engineer to develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions for a critical project. The role involves writing product or system code, participating in design reviews, reviewing other developers’ code, contributing documentation, and triaging and debugging issues. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least two years of software development experience, two years of front-end and user interface development experience, and experience developing web applications with JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML5, JSON, and web services. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, data structures and algorithms experience, cloud infrastructure knowledge, GraphQL, and web application performance optimization.
