Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its Admin Access Platform (AAP) Dynamic Policy Engine team to build and scale a dynamic authorization engine that protects privileged access at scale. The role involves designing novel access controls, optimizing and analyzing policy-engine tooling, partnering with SREs and other teams, and supporting reliable, secure access systems. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, at least two years of Java programming experience, two years of coding and system-design experience, and two years of code-optimization experience. Compensation is $147,000–$210,000 USD plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
