Google DeepMind is hiring a Software Engineer to build and maintain testing environments, automated software harnesses, CI/CD pipelines, staging environments, release workflows, and regression checks across machine learning models, software services, and physical robot hardware. The role also involves monitoring engineering productivity, optimizing the ML flywheel, and collaborating with senior engineers on automation and AI tooling. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or equivalent practical experience, plus two years of software engineering, DevOps, CI/CD, or engineering productivity experience; two years of automated testing and release-pipeline experience; two years of C++ and Python experience; one year of large-scale model training, serving, and evaluation experience; and one year of embedded systems or Hardware-in-the-Loop testing experience.
