Google Cloud is hiring a Software Engineer to own the architectural evolution of GKE networking, including virtualization, data-plane and control-plane design, high-performance networking for large-scale AI/ML training and agentic workloads, security, and service mesh technologies. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration with GKE Platform and Cloud Networking teams and leadership in the Kubernetes open-source community. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of software development experience, three years of software product experience, and one year of software design and architecture experience. The position is based in Warsaw or Kraków, Poland, with a stated base salary of PLN 364,000–373,000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
