Description
Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its Cloud Expansion Air-Gapped team to build and secure sovereign cloud platforms. The role focuses on deploying and configuring air-gapped solutions such as Google Distributed Cloud, installing and managing core infrastructure, troubleshooting deployment issues, and using scripting and automation to reduce operational toil. The engineer will also participate in system design, coordinate with stakeholders, and communicate technical progress. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, two years of software development or one year with an advanced degree, two years of infrastructure or large-scale distributed systems experience, and an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with willingness to undergo a polygraph. Compensation is $147,000–$211,000 USD plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
