Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its Technical Infrastructure team to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions. The role involves managing project priorities and deliverables, participating in design reviews, reviewing code, contributing documentation, and triaging and debugging issues affecting hardware, networks, or services. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of experience programming in C++, Java, Go, or Python, three years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, three years of experience with large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture, and one year of experience with software design and architecture. Compensation is $174,000–$252,000 USD plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
