Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its Platforms and Devices team to develop computing software platforms, devices, and services. The role involves writing product and system code, collaborating on design and code reviews, triaging and debugging issues, and implementing solutions in specialized machine learning areas such as speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, model optimization, and data processing. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least two years of Python or C++ programming experience, and one year of experience with speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or another machine learning field, including ML infrastructure experience.
