Description
Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its Core team to build the technical foundation behind its flagship products. The role involves writing product or system development code, participating in or leading design reviews, reviewing other developers’ code, contributing documentation, and triaging and debugging product or system issues. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, two years of C++ software development experience, and two years of data structures and algorithms experience; a master’s degree or PhD, Go and Python experience, large-scale data processing experience, and compute infrastructure experience are preferred. Compensation is $147,000–$210,000 USD plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
