Google is hiring a software engineer to develop and test product or system code, participate in technology design reviews, review other developers’ code, contribute documentation, and triage and resolve product or system issues. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of Java, Kotlin, or C++ programming experience, three years of software product testing, maintenance, or launch experience, one year of large-scale application design and architecture experience, and three years of Android application development experience. Compensation is $174,000–$253,000 USD plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
