Description
Google is hiring a software engineer for its Core team to build and maintain the technical foundations of its products. The role involves writing, testing, designing, reviewing, deploying, debugging, and improving software; managing project priorities and deliverables; participating in design reviews; and contributing to documentation. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of experience with Java, C++, Python, C#, or Go, three years with JavaScript or TypeScript, three years with software product testing, maintenance, or launch, and one year with software design and architecture. A master’s degree or PhD, data structures and algorithms experience, technical leadership experience, and accessible-technology experience are preferred.
