Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its Commerce team to build cross-platform shopping experiences for Google Pay using Flutter and Dart. The role partners with product, user experience, and cross-functional teams, integrates AI/ML models, develops and iterates on large language model prompts and conversational AI infrastructure, and conducts operational and qualitative evaluations of AI responses and generative image or video results. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, one year of software development experience, one year of data structures and algorithms experience, and one year of Android application development experience.
