Description
Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its Core team to build and maintain the technical foundations behind its products. The role involves writing product or system code, participating in or leading design reviews, reviewing other developers’ code, contributing documentation, and triaging and debugging issues. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, two years of C++ software development experience, and two years of data structures and algorithms experience; preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, infrastructure or distributed-systems experience, accessibility experience, and machine-learning experience. Compensation is $147,000–$210,000 USD plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
