Grote Electronics is hiring a full-time, permanent Software Engineer to develop custom firmware and software for automotive, heavy-duty truck, and bus modules. The role involves firmware design, integration, testing, release, system implementation, documentation, code review, and root-cause problem solving across software, hardware, integration, architecture, simulation, manufacturing, and quality disciplines. A bachelor’s degree in software engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field and at least four years of programming experience are required; embedded software, C programming, ARM architecture, and real-time systems experience are preferred. The position pays $80,000–$110,000 and is performed in person, with extended health, dental, vision, life insurance, RRSP matching, and on-site parking benefits.
