IAMUS Consulting is hiring a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and implement complex Java-based software capabilities for computer-based systems in a collaborative small-business environment. The role focuses on enterprise APIs, RESTful web services, microservices, object-oriented programming, Agile development, configuration management, Linux, cloud and database technologies, and the integration of AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Gemini into multi-file implementation, refactoring, testing, and code-review workflows. It requires an active Secret U.S. Government security clearance and U.S. citizenship, with hybrid on-site work at Fort Meade and Columbia, Maryland.
