iCapital is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and scale the platform's backend, coordinating work and guiding technology decisions. The role involves close collaboration with Product Management, detailing requirements, reviewing work-in-progress, and addressing issues identified by manual testing. Responsibilities also include acting as a technical architect for new client projects, utilizing open-source technologies like Scala, Akka, Postgres, and Kinesis to create elegant APIs, and driving new initiatives by collaborating with Sales and Product teams.
