Description
Independent Software is hiring a Software Engineer, Level 2 or Level 3, to support the modernization of a mission-critical Java application from a monolithic architecture to a cloud-ready microservices platform. The role involves developing and maintaining Java and Angular applications, designing RESTful APIs, supporting Spring Boot, Docker, PostgreSQL, document parsing, and AWS migration efforts, and participating in Agile/Scrum development. Candidates must have strong Java, front-end, API, database, version-control, build-tool, Linux, and Agile experience, along with the specified years of software engineering experience and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience for the applicable level. An active TS SCI with an appropriate polygraph is required.
