JD.com is hiring an experienced Software Engineer to develop and extend retail services and platform software for its JoyBuy business across European operations. The role focuses on building high-performance, secure, scalable applications; managing technical risks; improving operational excellence; researching and adopting new technologies; strengthening development processes; communicating technical strategy; and mentoring junior engineers. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least five years of software development experience, Java and Kotlin expertise, microservices and cloud knowledge, CI/CD experience, and English communication skills. The engineer will work onsite in London, Berlin, or Düsseldorf.
